  • IEEE SoutheastCon 2010 Program Guide available for download.
  • Transportation from the Charlotte Airport:  We have been able to secure free transportation from the Charlotte Airport to the conference hotel.  Our van will leave the airport at the following times:  Thursday, March 18:  4:15, 5:45, and 7:30 pm; Friday March 19:  4:15, and 5:45 pm.  The van will return to the airport at the following times:  Friday, March 19:  4:45 pm; Sunday, March 21: 8:30 am, 10:30 am, 12:30 pm.  If you want to take advantage of this free transportation, send an email to r3reply@ieee.org This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.   • Dinner, Saturday night:  We will now offer the choice of three entrees:  Pecan Chicken, Prime Rib, and a vegetarian selection.  If you want the chicken, you do not need to let us know – that is the default selection.  If you want Prime Rib, please send an email to r3reply@ieee.org This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and let us know you want this beef selection.  We will assume that attendees who indicated they are vegetarians will be provided a vegetarian meal.
  • Thursday Tour and Reception:  There is a tour and free reception Thursday evening at UNC Charlotte.  A shuttle bus will leave the hotel at 6:00 and 6:30 pm and return at several times.
  • Friday Energy Track:  We will now offer PDH’s for those who attend the Friday Energy Track (50-minute talks).  Please make sure to sign in each session.
  • Internet:  There is free internet in the hotel guests rooms.  There is free internet in the conference area for exhibitors, Region 3 meeting members, and technical conference authors. You will be provided a code at the conference.
  • Student programming contest:  There is a Saturday student programming contest where the top prize is three Droid Phones, provided by Verizon Wireless.  There are still a few more team openings.  More information is on this page.

  • The registration page for IEEE SoutheastCon 2010 is now available!  Please visit http://www.regonline.com/sec10 to register for the tutorials (Thursday & Friday), technical papers sessions and free tutorials (Friday & Saturday), Region 3 Meeting (Friday through Sunday), or the Student Conference (Friday & Saturday).
